Kathy McCormick Deol worked for many years as a doula and home birth assistant before embarking on her path to midwifery. She was a direct-entry midwife in the midwest prior to beginning her education and training as a nurse-midwife.

In 2007, Kathy successfully completed the requirements for her Masters in Midwifery Science at Philadelphia University and passed national board exams in nurse-midwifery. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, she provides care to women throughout their lifespan, with a special emphasis on women in the childbearing years.

At our home clinic you will find an experienced midwife and various assistants who have received the appropriate training and certification relative to their participation in client care. Kathy and her birth assistants are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). These trainings and certifications are renewed every two years.

We believe that pregnancy and birth is a time of emotional and spiritual maturation, as well as the more obvious physical growth. It is a period of great transformation for your family, and we are honored to assist in the process.
